Know Your Rights cards are available in Spanish, Creole, Arabic, and English. They are located on the table near the front doors of the Meetinghouse. These cards are intended to help people assert their rights and defend themselves in the event of unconstitutional Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions. On one side of the card, instructions on how to use the card are in different languages. The assertion of rights for the officer to read are in English. If you know of someone who could use a card, please take one. Please remind individuals to keep their copies of the KYR cards anonymous. Personal information should NOT be added to the cards nor should individuals openly share their immigration status.
Thanks to the Immigrant Support Team (and especially Celina, Mateo and Romero Varela) for researching, printing, cutting, and laminating these cards to share with our community!
